I understand the clinical experience is a year long experience and will be outside the scheduled days and hours of the normal school year at Tennessee Tech. (Required)

  • Interviews will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Interviews will ONLY be conducted on the days and times listed below. These are the ONLY times interviewers are scheduled as being available on campus for this purpose. Please plan ahead for this requirement as there will only be certain opportunities throughout the semester to complete it.
  • If you are unable to attend your selected date and time, you must notify our office in advance so we can remove you from the interview roster, Precious Edmonds (
  • You will be notified via email of the location of your interview AFTER 2 pm CST ONE DAY BEFORE your interview is scheduled.

During your interview, you will be rated by University faculty and/or staff. Your responses to the questions below will be shared with them in advance. Your interivew will be rated on the following criteria:

2. What is your perception of the difficulties of being a successful teacher? Name a few.

3. What are some experiences that you have had with students in the age group of your major (elementary, early childhood, middle school, secondary) in any setting (e.g., neighborhood, church, camp, school settings)?
